Pollok Park Visitor Offer

Creating a Visitor Strategy for Glasgow's largest park through visitor research

Icecream architecture carried out visitor research and consultation to assess and suggest improvements to the overall visitor offer of Pollok Country Park.

The plan identifies the unique visitor offers of Pollok Country Park, and sets out a series of recommendations to connect and package up the various assets within the Park.  The plan also considers how the heritage assets in the Park could be best used, which events and activities would appeal to audiences and ascertaining the level of interest in income-generating offers. It suggests projects and strategies that the Council could implement over various time periods to improve the overall visitor experience and connectivity within the Park.

Icecream gathered views from various stakeholders and Park visitors through in-person and online engagement, including building a bespoke consultation platform and engaging with visitors across the Park. The team has delivered pop-up consultations at various locations, days and times throughout the Park, to engage with a variety of visitors.
