Made in Paisley

Outline:

Made in Paisley was an experimental exhibition exploring the idea of co production and collaboration in a museum setting.

Client: Paisley Museum

Working closely with the public to produce the ‘Made in Paisley City,’ aimed to understand the challenges and benefits of co-production within a museum. Organised workshops and interactive installations gave the public an opportunity to add and change the design of the made in paisley exhibition. The public were given a variety of ways to get involved to target as many levels of self led participation as possible; from very simple interactions to more complex high impact ways of changing and curating the exhibition. Social media was used as a method to document change, along with a final timeline installed in the museum to show the process of collaboration.
